Harriet McAra

Harriet McAra currently serves as the Science Communications and Events Manager at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) since May 2023. Prior to this role, Harriet worked at the Royal Society of Biology, where positions included Senior Events Officer and Events and Membership Officer from July 2019 to May 2023, as well as a Biology Week Intern in August 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as a STEM Outreach Ambassador at Newcastle University from July 2017 to July 2018. Harriet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Newcastle University, completed between 2014 and 2017, and attended Sheffield High School for Girls from 2008 to 2013.
