Louise Jakobsen

Louise Jakobsen is a seasoned professional in zoological management, currently serving as the Browse Management Officer at the Zoological Society of London since May 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing browse deliveries and evolving animal browse provision at Whipsnade and London Zoos. Prior to this role, Louise held various positions at ZSL, including Senior Keeper responsible for the Hoofstock Section, and contributed to animal record keeping in both London and Whipsnade Zoos. In addition, Louise chairs the BIAZA Giraffid Subgroup, focusing on captive giraffe husbandry in the UK and Ireland. Educational qualifications include an Advanced National Certificate in Managing Zoo Animals from Sparsholt College Hampshire and a Farm Assistant degree from CEU Selandia, Denmark.
