Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes is an accomplished professional in the field of ecology and conservation, with extensive experience spanning roles such as EDGE of Existence Programme Manager and Social Scientist at the Zoological Society of London since November 2019, and Trustee at KONKLUSI since January 2020. Previous positions include Director at Conservation Consultancy Ltd. and Research Fellow at Universitas Cenderawasih. Paul has a solid background in ecological consultancy, evidenced by roles at RSK Group plc and as a self-employed ecological consultant. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Anthropology from UCL and an MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London, complemented by a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Brighton.
