Erica Berndt serves as the Education Coordinator for Elementary Age Programs at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee since June 2019, where responsibilities include curriculum development and program coordination for ages 6-12. Erica's experience encompasses various educational roles, including Education Specialist and Instructor at the Zoological Society, as well as facilitating workshops focused on nonviolent conflict resolution at the Peace Learning Center of Milwaukee. Previous positions include substitute teaching at Milwaukee Jewish Day School and conducting educational workshops for scouting organizations at Discovery World. Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a robust background in animal education and child development.
