Sandra Mcleod

Sandra McLeod joined Zoom in 2021 and brings nearly 15 years of cybersecurity experience to her role as Zoom’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this position she oversees Zoom’s comprehensive security efforts, including product security, cyber security, insider risk management, security services, threat detection, incident response, and more. Prior to becoming Interim CISO in April 2025, she served as Zoom’s Head of Security Assurance and was responsible for assessing the effectiveness of Zoom’s security controls, practices, and procedures.

Before joining Zoom, Sandra worked at Cisco for over ten years where she conducted security research and led Cisco’s Advanced Security Initiatives Group, Offensive Security, and Forensics teams. She developed her passion for security through her prior 12 years’ experience as a developer leading teams for a number of financial and healthcare organizations where protecting customers was a top priority.

Sandra holds a B.S. in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
