Rocío Alvarez Mercé

Rocío Alvarez Mercé has a diverse work experience. In 2011, they were a Guide and Speaker at Tecnópolis - Science Park, where they were responsible for Science Outreach Activities and seminars about technology and exact and natural sciences. In 2012, they worked as a Private classes professor. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at FLENI, where they were involved in the area of applied physics and neuroscience, performing calibration and setting of measurement equipment and data acquisition, and characterizing the respiratory signal, skin conductance and its cerebral correlation in response to emotional stimuli. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Science communicator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Natural and Exact Sciences, where they were responsible for science communication presenting science-related topics to the general public and popularization of science. In 2019, they worked as a Data Scientist Intern in the R&D Team at Eco CO2. Finally, in 2020, they worked as a Machine Learning Team Leader - Scrum Master at ZoomAgri, where they were responsible for Machine Learning team building, coordination and management, direction and implementation of R&D schedule, objectives and initiatives, and R&D organization roadmap development. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager, where they managed project alignment with business objectives, schedule and communication management, and delivered technology road map, architecture, implementation plans and project delivery methodology.

Rocío Alvarez Mercé has a Master's degree in Energy Engineering: REST - Renewable Energy, Science and Technology from École Polytechnique, which they obtained in 2019. Rocío also holds a M. Sc. in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires, which they obtained in 2017. In addition, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, such as Scrum Inc., Centro de e-Learning UTN FRBA, Coursera, HarvardX, Udemy, and Agile Education by Scrum Inc.
