Birgit Mildner-Weber

Birgit Mildner-Weber is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and leadership roles, currently serving as the Global Head of Purchasing at zooplus since July 2019. In this position, Birgit holds full P&L responsibility for the Health & Wellness category across 30 European countries, demonstrates expertise in vendor management, and has successfully executed corporate negotiations that resulted in significant savings. Birgit is also the co-founder of the internal gender equality network "zoofemme," championing diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization. Previous positions include Head of Procurement Controlling & Excellence, Chief of Staff to the CFO & CCO, and various marketing roles, complemented by a strong academic background in International Marketing and Languages from prestigious institutions including King's College London and the University of Vienna.
