Claus Schmitz

Claus Schmitz is an experienced operations leader currently serving as the Head of Operations Strategy & PMO at zooplus, where responsibilities include supply chain transformation, cost reduction, and enhancing customer experience. Previous roles at zooplus as Chief of Staff to the COO involved defining area strategy and improving goods availability. At sennder, Claus held the position of Chief of Staff to the COO, overseeing budget management and enhancing departmental collaboration. Additional experience includes senior consultancy roles at Arthur D. Little focusing on operations management, along with various internships across notable companies such as KPMG and HUGO BOSS. Claus holds a Master of Science in Management from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the same institution, supplemented by studies in International Business at the University of Maryland.
