Alex Farias

Alex Farias has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. From 2018 to the present, they worked as a Global Homologation Analyst Sr. at Zoox Smart Data, where they were responsible for approving hardware and software for international and national clients to work with the Zoox Smart Data platform. Alex also created manuals for configuring future clients using homologated hardware. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, Alex worked as a Consultant in IT management as a freelancer. From 2009 to 2014, they served as an IT Manager at Trust Solutions, where they managed the migration and management of servers and implemented domain creation and GPOs. In 2008, they worked as an IT Support Specialist at Zinia Tecnologia, providing support to servers and stations and managing the Windows 2003 Small Business Server. Alex also worked as a Senior Information Technology Support Analyst at Boas Novas TV, where they managed user support, server management, and CCTV monitoring systems. Alex's early experience includes working as an IT Manager at Sara Nossa Terra from 2004 to 2008, where they supervised and executed support for Microsoft networks, managed Dell PowerEdge1800 servers, and deployed wireless networks.

Alex Farias has a diverse education history. In 2001, they completed a Web Design course at JBWeb Interactive, focusing on design and visual communication. In 2005, Alex attended NTI (Nucleo de Tecnologia da Informação) for a Microsoft certification preparatory course in Information Technology. Moving forward, they pursued a degree in Information Technology Management at UNISEB/ESTÁCIO from 2011 to 2014. During this time, Alex also participated in online courses such as Introduction to Databases at Stanford University in 2013 and an Online Programming Course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013.

Recently, in 2022, Alex completed a Postgraduate Specialization in Cybersecurity and Defense at Centro Universitário Internacional UNINTER. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications, including "Simulador EVE-NG for Cisco CCNA and CCNP Certifications" from Udemy in March 2021, "GERENTE DE SISTEMAS" from Estácio/Uniseb in October 2013, "6.00x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in January 2012, and "Foundations of Cybersecurity" from Google in May 2023. Moreover, they acquired three Network Security Associate certifications (NSE 1, NSE 2, NSE 3) from Fortinet in March 2023.
