Bin Shi is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and scaling data-intensive systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Zoox since May 2025, Bin is integral to the Observability team, focusing on enhancing visibility into autonomous vehicle platforms through distributed observability systems. Prior to this, Bin held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Salesforce, leading the transformation of the MuleSoft Anypoint Monitoring product with OpenTelemetry. Earlier roles include Lead Software Engineer at Exabeam, where large-scale data pipelines were built, and significant contributions were made to system observability, as well as technical leadership at Sony and software development at Oracle.
