Charing Chen

Charing (Han Xiang) Chen is an experienced Electrical System Integration Engineer at Zoox since April 2022, with a strong background in hardware development from previous roles at Fortinet, Tesla, and UBC Formula Electric. At Fortinet, significant accomplishments include developing schematics and prototype boards for the FortiGate 7000 series, as well as validating and troubleshooting circuit designs. At Tesla, contributions included developing battery testing scripts, designing PCBs for high-temperature environments, and enhancing the user interface for Powerwall Chargers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, a Self-Driving Car Engineer program at Udacity, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Douglas College.
