Jeff Irion earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from UC Davis in December 2015 and has been a part of the Teleguidance team at Zoox since May 2021, currently holding the position of Manager, TeleGuidance Motion Planning. Prior to Zoox, Jeff held roles such as Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Neato Robotics and Research Scientist at Bosch, where they developed advanced algorithms and contributed to significant research projects in robotics and data science. Jeff's diverse experience also includes positions as a Data Science Consultant and an Associate Editor for POWER Magazine, along with a background in manufacturing and medical physics research.
