Kory Shaffer

Kory Shaffer is a Senior CAE Durability Engineer at Zoox, having previously served as a Senior CAE Engineer in Durability at Lucid Motors. Kory's extensive experience includes roles at Boeing, where a notable focus involved structural analysis and propulsion design, further enhanced by participation in a two-year engineering and leadership development program. Kory's engineering expertise is complemented by leadership roles, including the establishment of a 3D printing lab at San Francisco State University and oversight of research initiatives at NASA CIPAIR. Kory holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University, supplemented by studies at Queensland University of Technology.
