Mario Ferre

Mario Ferre is an experienced Autonomous Body Systems Engineer currently working at Zoox since June 2023, after serving as an Autonomous Body Systems Engineer II. Previously, Mario held the position of Technical Officer at PopEye Labs, where oversight included the development of an innovative autonomous solution for large commercial vessels that significantly reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Earlier roles included a Vehicle Development Intern at Zoox, where design improvements were made for vehicle parts, and Lead Engineer for Penn Electric Racing, managing the aerodynamics and composite design for a formula racecar. Mario's educational background includes a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as engineering studies at Cornell University and earlier education in Italy.
