Tommy Sutton

Tommy Sutton is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in advanced hardware engineering and closures systems. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Zoox since July 2019, Tommy previously held multiple positions at Tesla from 2015 to 2019, contributing to the design and integration of critical vehicle components for the Model X. Prior experience includes internships at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities encompassed failure analysis and testing of satellite systems, as well as leading cutting-edge projects in energy attenuation materials. Tommy's educational background includes a Master's degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
