Chris Leat

Chris Leat is an experienced professional in the cybersecurity and engineering domains, currently serving as the Head of Security Operations and Engineering at Zopa Bank since June 2018. With a progressive career in security, Chris previously held various roles at Zopa Bank, including Security Operations Manager, Security Engineering Lead, Senior Security Engineer, and Security Engineer. Prior to joining Zopa Bank, Chris worked at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as a Principal Cyber Security Consultant and also held several consultancy roles in cybersecurity. Chris's earlier experience includes IT roles at Yancoal Australia Ltd, SYSTEMS SUPPORT OF CAMBRIDGE LIMITED, Square Group, Hermstedt AG, and IDG. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Computer Forensics from the University of Westminster, earned in 2011.
