Senior Software Engineer at Zoran

Lev Moldavsky has over 30 years of experience in software development and engineering. Lev started their career as a Senior Staff Researcher at the Research Institute of Multi-processor computer systems in the USSR. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Degem - systems ltd., where they developed educational software in the field of electricity and electronics.

In 1992, Lev joined LanOptics ltd. Israel as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing the Firewall management software and a network management project for monitoring and controlling LanOptics' hubs.

In 1995, they became a Project Leader at Computer Associates, Israel. In this role, they designed and developed distributed, object-oriented, multithreaded software for centrally managing distributed storage assets across multiple platforms. Lev also developed data collection agents and implemented client and server network components.

From 2002 to 2006, Lev worked at Microspec Technology ltd. as a Software Team Leader. Lev was responsible for designing and developing ADC system infrastructure components and managing a team of developers. Lev also implemented GUI components and developed COM/DCOM protocols.

In 2006, Lev joined S.A.E. Afikim as a Software Team Leader, where they led the software team in developing various projects.

From 2006 to 2011, Lev worked at SafeNet former Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer. Lev contributed to the design and development of various components for the eSafe gateways, including a multithreaded interface between the Linux firewall and IP reputation engine, as well as key components of the gateways' central management system.

From 2011 to 2014, Lev worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CSR former Zoran. In this role, they contributed to the design and development of ImageTune, a PC tool used by camera makers for assessing, calibrating, and testing image processing filters and algorithms.

Since 2014, Lev has been working at Metalix CAD/CAM Ltd. as a Software Developer.

Throughout their career, Lev has demonstrated expertise in software development, multithreading, GUI development, firmware development, and various technologies and protocols. Lev has also accomplished various accomplishments in software design and development in different domains.

Lev Moldavsky earned their M.Sc degree in Computer-Aided Manufacturing Systems from Taganrog State Radio Technical University between 1970 and 1975. Lev then pursued a PhD in Computer Sciences at the same university, completing it from 1980 to 1985.
