Gilwoo Lee

Gilwoo Lee is the Founder & CEO of Zordi, a role they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD Research Intern at Facebook Reality Labs from June 2017 to November 2017. In 2013, they co-founded Glance Co. and held the role of Co-Founder until December 2013. From February 2012 to February 2013, they worked as an Investment Analyst at Michigan Venture Capital. Before that, they were employed as a Lighting Technical Director at DreamWorks Animation from July 2010 to August 2011. In 2008, they worked as a Research Intern at Canon Inc.

Gilwoo Lee completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. Gilwoo then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2015. Following that, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Robotics. Lastly, Gilwoo Lee enrolled at the University of Washington from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Artificial Intelligence.
