Youngsun Kim

Youngsun Kim has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer for the Republic of Korea Army. In 2013, they co-founded and worked as a Software Engineer at Gist before leaving in 2014. Youngsun then joined New York University in 2015 as a Graduate Research Assistant until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington from 2017 to 2019, where they won several awards for their work in food perception and robotic feeding. In 2019, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Zordi, starting in 2021.

Youngsun Kim completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from New York University, which took place from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Youngsun completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Korea University, during the period of 2005 to 2009.
