Mark Vanhumbeeck

Mark Vanhumbeeck is an experienced professional in the field of social economy and welfare, currently serving as a Stafmedewerker at Zorggroep Sint-Kamillus since April 2024. Prior to this, Mark was employed at Vlaams Welzijnsverbond from January 2018 to April 2024 as a Stafmedewerker welzijnsgericht ondernemen, where responsibilities included supporting members in addressing societal challenges and developing responsive models for care and support. Mark's career also includes a directorial role at In-C vzw, focusing on coordinating support for social entrepreneurship, and several advisory positions, including at the Vlaamse federatie beschutte werkplaatsen (VLAB vzw) and the cabinet of the Flemish Minister Van Brempt. Mark holds a licentiate degree in applied economics, specializing in personnel policy and social issues, from KU Leuven, completed in 1999.
