Aslı Alemdaroğlu graduated from Robert College and then completed her B.A. degree in English Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University in 1988. She later obtained her degree in Advertising and Communication from Watford College. Alemdaroğlu started her career in 1989 as a customer representative at the Güzel Sanatlar (S&S) Advertising Agency before working as an academic at the Department of English Language Teaching at Marmara University between 1991 and 1993. Alemdaroğlu then became an account manager at Saatchi & Saatchi agency in 1994 and served as the advertising manager of the agency until 2000. She worked as Pamukbank’s Advertising and Public Relations Manager between 2000 and 2002 and later became the Advertising Manager for Aria, Turkey’s 3rd GSM operator. Alemdaroğlu continued her career as Arçelik’s Corporate Communications Director between 2004 and 2009. She then served as the Corporate Communications Group Manager at ING Bank between 2009 and 2011 and took office as the Corporate Communications Director at Yıldız Holding in 2012. Alemdaroğlu was appointed as Corporate Communications General Manager at Zorlu Holding in 2014.
Since 2016, Aslı Alemdaroğlu has been managing the creation and branding processes for Smart Life 2030, the sustainability strategy for Zorlu Holding, and its group companies. In her department, she continues to lead all social investment projects of the Holding Company, which has adopted the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a guide.
