Gene Smith

Gene Smith is a seasoned professional in marketing technology and operations, currently serving as a Marketing Technology Solutions Architect at Zoro US since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Technology Production at Ketchum and Director of Global Marketing Technology and Operations at the Center for Creative Leadership. Gene has also held directorial positions at MERGE Boston and served as a consultant specializing in marketing technology and digital transformation. Prior to these roles, Gene was Chief Technology Officer at Ignite Social Media, Web Services Manager at SEIU, and gained experience in public affairs and web management with organizations such as Americans for Health Care and TransAfrica Forum. Gene holds a Master of Arts in African Studies from Howard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Multinational Organizational Studies and International Business from St. Mary's University.
