Jonathan Carling

Jonathan Carling is a Non-Executive Director at Zotefoams Plc. Jonathan has held this position since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Tokamak Energy Ltd. from October 2017 to May 2021.

Jonathan Carling began their career in 1983 as Chief Engineer at Jaguar Landrover. Jonathan held this position for 22 years before moving to Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd in 2005, where they became the Chief Operating Officer. In 2010, Jonathan also took on the role of Non Executive Director at Aga Rangemaster Group plc.

In 2011, Jonathan left Aston Martin to join Rolls-Royce plc as their Executive Vice President. Jonathan was promoted to COO, Civil Large Engines in 2013 and held this position until 2015 when they left Rolls-Royce to join Zotefoams plc as their CEO.

Jonathan Carling has a B.Sc. in Engineering from City, University of London. Jonathan is certified by the Royal Academy of Engineering as a Fellow, Royal Academy of Engineering and by the Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer. Jonathan is also certified by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as a Fellow, Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
