John Higelin

Partner at Zouk Capital

John joined Zouk in 2013 and is a Principal in the Technology Growth team. He serves on the boards of Zola Electric and Huddle, and has been involved in many of Zouk’s other investments including iZettle, Sigfox, Readly, and Workable.

Prior to Zouk, John spent several years in investment banking at J.P.Morgan and Alantra, working on a wide range of M&A transactions in technology, energy, and industrials. He also served as an advisor to the United Nations Development Programme in New York, promoting the adoption of clean energy technologies in developing countries.

A former Berklee College of Music merit scholar, John is an avid contemporary jazz pianist in his spare time.

John holds masters’ degrees from Columbia University and the University of Cambridge, and an engineering degree from École Centrale in Lyon, France.
