Grzegorz Miejski

Grzegorz Miejski has a diverse range of work experience. Grzegorz is currently a Staff Software Engineer at Zowie, where they collaborate with two engineering teams and focuses on improving platform reliability and monitoring, particularly in a cloud migration project. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the Core Team at SmartRecruiters from December 2020 to March 2022.

From 2018 to 2019, Grzegorz was a Senior Software Engineer at Brainly, where they worked in the Machine Learning Infrastructure team. Grzegorz'sresponsibilities included migrating on-site search to ElasticSearch and implementing and testing ML models for production using Keras NLP models.

Grzegorz also has experience at Allegro, where they worked from 2015 to 2018. Grzegorz began as a Junior Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer, completing migrations and resolving problems related to old PHP code. Grzegorz also contributed to Spark analytics and developed Chaos Monkey, a project aimed at testing infrastructure and microservices communication to identify and prevent issues before production.

Before Allegro, Grzegorz worked as an Associate Software Developer at Sabre in 2014 and had an internship as a Software Engineer at Loycon Systems from April to November 2013.

Grzegorz Miejski pursued their education at AGH University of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2017. Grzegorz completed their Master's degree in Computer Science during this period. Additionally, in June 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
