Larry Pfeiffer

Larry Pfeiffer serves as the Director of the Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy, and International Security at George Mason University's Schar School for Policy and Government since July 2017. In addition, Pfeiffer has held various influential roles, including Board Member for Valiant Integrated Services and Board Member Emeritus for ZP Group. Pfeiffer is a public speaker who shares insights from a distinguished 32-year career in the White House, CIA, and NSA, focusing on crisis management and national security. Formerly, Pfeiffer held key positions such as Senior Advisor to the CIA Director's Privacy and Civil Liberties Officer and Senior Director of the White House Situation Room. Pfeiffer holds a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from James Madison University.
