ZPUE SA is a Poland-based manufacturer of electrical equipment. The Company is principally engaged in the production of container transformer stations, cable connectors of low voltage, overhead lines, medium and low voltage switchgears as well as pole transformer stations. It also provides its clients with maintenance and technical support services. The Company operates mainly on the domestic market, as well as in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Latvia, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Scandinavian countries and Germany. As of December 31, 2011, the Company was a parent entity of the capital group, consisting ZPUE Gliwice Sp. z o.o., Zawod blocznych kompliektnych transformatorowych podstacij OOO and Promyszliennyje inwesticii OOO, both based in the Russian Federation, and ZPUE Ukraina Sp. z o.o., based in Ukraine. It merged with ZPUE Holding Sp z o o and ZPUE Silesia Sp z o o.
