Rok Ciglic

Rok Ciglic is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in geography and geographic information systems. Currently serving as a lecturer at Podiplomska šola ZRC SAZU since October 2022, Rok has also held the position of research fellow at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts since September 2008. In addition, Rok is the Editor-in-Chief of Acta geographica Slovenica and contributes to several editorial boards, including prominent research journals and book series related to geography and natural hazards. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, complemented by participation in specialized summer schools and scholarship programs in geographic information systems.
