Bala Kini

Bala Kini is a Senior FP&A and Strategy Consultant at ZRG Partners, LLC, where responsibilities include leading the transformation of financial models for a $550M revenue operation, enhancing projections for a VC-backed SaaS company, and automating financial processes. Previously, as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Analytics at Transamerica, Bala managed a $140M budget and established the FP&A function for strategic planning and reporting. At HERE Technologies, leadership of a global team resulted in winning the TBM Council's prestigious Award for “Applications and Services Optimization.” Earlier experience includes roles at Fannie Mae, where Bala managed a $3T loan portfolio, and AOL, where the development of the Total Cost of Operations model drove cost management initiatives. Bala Kini holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from Virginia Tech and an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
