Janel Timoney Brown

Janel Timoney Brown currently serves as a DOW Account Executive for DISA & 4th Estate at Zscaler since August 2025, and is a founding board member and President of the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of Women In Defense since October 2015. Prior experience includes leading initiatives as Director, Joint DOD Account Executive at Microsoft from April 2021 to August 2025, where Janel achieved over 100% of sales quotas and closed significant SaaS enterprise deals. Janel also held several director-level roles at Maxar Technologies, overseeing business development and product sales in space technology, and served as a Naval Officer in various assignments for over two decades. Janel holds a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy, an M.B.A. from the University of Hawai‘i, and has completed additional education at Georgetown University and Shipley Associates.
