Shankar Subramaniam

Shankar Subramaniam is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Zscaler since October 2025, Shankar oversees the DSPM and AI-SPM businesses. Prior to this role, Shankar held the position of VP & GM of Security Products at Druva, where responsibilities included cybersecurity, eDiscovery, DSPM products, and go-to-market strategy. As the Founder, CTO, and CPO of Concentric AI, Shankar led efforts in developing AI/LLM-based DSPM solutions. Shankar's career includes co-founding Niara, which focused on UEBA and was acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and holding various engineering and leadership roles at prominent technology firms such as HPE Aruba Networking, Andiamo Systems, and Shasta Networks. Shankar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
