Kamran Shahid

Kamran Shahid is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Vice President of Technical Marketing at ZTE Corporation since August 2016. Kamran leads a team of 15 marketing professionals, driving initiatives including Hybrid Power Solutions, 4G Network Modernization, and 5G Trials in Pakistan, while also playing a pivotal role in major projects and significant telecom mergers, including the Jazz-Warid merger. Prior to ZTE, Kamran was the Manager of RAN Planning at Jazz from August 2007 to June 2016, where expertise in network swaps and telecom merger planning contributed to the successful launch of 3G and 4G networks. Kamran's career began at Comstar Pakistan as a Network Operations Center Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from NED University and an MBA from Bahria University.
