Before joining ZTE, he successively assumed the positions of Deputy Director, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Chairman of Board of Supervisors, and Secretary of the CPC Committee in Xi'an Microelectronics Technology Institute.
