Vegard Aven

Vegard Aven has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. Vegard began their career in 1995 as a System Consultant for Provida ASA. Vegard then moved to Ementor in 1999 as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for re-shaping a development project to develop a new international cross boarder payment system. From 2002 to 2018, they worked at Tieto as a Head of Development Payment & Cash Management, Manager Product Services, Head of Payments, and Manager Payments. In 2018, they moved to Aspiria AS as a Senior Project Manager and IT Manager for Go-Ahead mobilisation, where they established and built up the IT function for Go-Ahead Norway during the mobilisation phase. In 2020, they took on the role of Delivery Director at ZTL Payment Solution.

Vegard Aven completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at High School. Vegard then attended the University of South-Eastern Norway, where they earned their Bachelor in Electronics from 1989 to 1992. Vegard then moved to the University of Bristol, where they earned their Bachelor in Electronics and Mobile Communication from 1992 to 1994. Finally, they attended the BI Norwegian Business School, where they earned their Master of Management in Project Management from 1997 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained their IPMA level B certification from IPMA CERTIFICATION BODY NORWAY in May 2009 and their Person Profil Analyse certification from SLG Thomas in November 1999.
