Richard Oyen

Richard Oyen, SPHR has a strong background in human resources and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Richard most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Zultys, Inc. since September 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at SameSide from July 2021 to August 2022. Prior to these roles, Richard held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities at Centrify Corporation from March 2015 to June 2021. Richard also served as the Vice President of Human Resources at SumTotal Systems from October 2006 to March 2015. Earlier in their career, Richard was the Director of HR at Keynote Systems from September 2005 to October 2006, and an HR Manager at Oracle from December 1998 to September 2005.

Richard Oyen, SPHR holds an MBA degree from the University of San Francisco School of Management, which they earned from 1994 to 1996. Richard also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Richard has acquired certifications such as SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2015 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 1997.
