Denis Alder is a seasoned forest biometrician currently serving at Zulu Forest Sciences since November 2020, where responsibilities include developing allometric and growth models to assess carbon sequestration in global forest biomes and supporting staff in forest management and ecosystem modeling. In addition, Denis Alder has operated a consulting practice in forest biometrics since 1980, specializing in forest inventories, allometric studies, and growth models, with extensive experience working for various organizations, including UK DFID, UN FAO, and several governments in South America. Denis Alder holds a D. Phil. in Forest Growth Modelling from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc (Hons) in Forest Science from The Australian National University.
