Maria R. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental research. Maria began their career as an Environmental Technician at Aubèrria Natura I Patrimoni SL, where they provided services related to ecotourism, environmental awareness, and technical studies. Maria then worked as an Environmental Data Analyst at the Catalan Ornithological Institute, conducting research on birds and habitats through citizen science projects. Maria also served as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at the Centre d'Estudis de la Neu i de la Muntanya d'Andorra - CENMA, where they were involved in various environmental research projects. Maria later worked as a Programmer at the Observatori de la Sostenibilitat d'Andorra, conducting applied research projects related to sustainability in Andorra. Maria then joined Cranfield Airport as a Geographic Information System Specialist to assist in general aviation operations. Maria further developed their GIS expertise at Ringway, where they worked as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and Database Manager for local authority highway contracts in the United Kingdom.
