Mariela Lombard is a seasoned media professional with a diverse background in photography and editing. Currently serving as a Planning Editor at Spectrum News since October 2021, Mariela has also owned and operated Mariela Lombard Photography since July 1998. Additional roles include contributing photographer at ZUMA Press, assignment desk editor at Univision Communications Inc., and staff photographer at ImpreMedia. Previous experience includes a position as a photographer for the New York Daily News and news photographer at Noticias Del Mundo. Mariela is pursuing a Bachelor's degree and an Associate of Science in Cultural Studies-Journalism at Empire State University, building on education from The New School and the International Center of Photography.
