Scott Mc Kiernan is a seasoned leader in the field of photojournalism with extensive experience spanning multiple organizations. As the Chairman of the Board and Founder of Reportage Foundation since 2015, Scott advocates for informed dialogue through skilled journalism addressing critical issues. As Chief Photographer for ZUMA Press Wire Service since 1993, Scott has reported on significant global and social stories, while also holding leadership roles at ThePicturesofTheDay.com and zReportage.com as Founder and Publisher. In addition, Scott established ZUMA Press, creating the largest independent picture wire service in the world, and has contributed to DOUBLEtruck Magazine focused on impactful photography. Scott has also served in educational roles, including as a lecturer at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and a professor at UCLA Extension. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film, Video, and Photographic Arts, Scott continues to inspire and promote meaningful visual storytelling through various platforms and organizations.
