When Nick Gaffney founded Zumado Public Relations in 2014, he was inspired by Esperanto, the world’s most widely spoken “constructed” language invented by Warsaw ophthalmologist L.L. Zamenhof in 1887. Zumado is the Esperanto word for buzz, which in English slang has come to represent intense enthusiasm, interest, excitement or exhilaration.

Over the years, Zumado has industriously branded that moniker to become synonymous with business development, media relations, influencer/thought leadership visibility and results for professional service firms, particularly in the legal, accounting and wealth management industries and for technology companies, nonprofits and start-ups.
