Brent Gillan

Brent Gillan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT industry. Brent has held various roles throughout their career, including Senior Software Engineer at Zumasys since January 2023 and continues to work there. Prior to that, they served as a MultiValue Software Engineer at Zumasys starting in November 2017.

Before joining Zumasys, Brent was the President/Owner of Gillan Technologies Inc. since May 2001, where they performed numerous IT assignments such as Programmer/Analyst, System Analyst, Application Developer, Data Design Consultant, Technical Analyst, and Business Reporting. Brent has worked in various industry sectors in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the U.S., specializing in areas such as Finance/Insurance, transportation, manufacturing, government, and education.

Brent also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rocket Software from September 2021 to December 2022.

Brent Gillan attended Red River College Polytechnic from 1984 to 1986, where they pursued a degree in Computer Analysis/Programming. The field of study focused on computer systems analysis and prepared him for a career in this area.
