Jake Pichel

Jake Pichel has a range of work experience in engineering roles. Jake began working at Zume Inc. in 2020 as a Controls Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at North American Fire Hose Corporation from 2015 to 2021 as a Special Projects Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing, developing, installing, and commissioning automated control systems. Jake also had experience in cabinet, electrical schematic, and PCB design, as well as designing a machine with Ethernet IP controlled DC motors. In 2014, Jake served as the Team Lead in the Intel-Galileo-Rapid Prototyping Competition, where their team achieved third place.

Jake Pichel obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University. Jake attended the university from 2012 to 2015.
