Sophie Marieke Preuß has a diverse work experience in marketing and brand management. Sophie Marieke started their career in 2006 as a Junior Art Director at farbton kommunikation, followed by a role as Junior Art Director at Christ GmbH from 2008 to 2010. Preuß then became the CEO and Art Director at grafikplus - visuelle Kommunikation from 2010 to 2012. Sophie Marieke went on to work as a Marketing Manager at PKS Software GmbH from 2012 to 2016. Preuß also had a brief stint as a Co-Author and strategic sparring partner at Hermann-Ruess U. Partner in 2016. Since 2016, Preuß has been working at Zumtobel Lighting, starting as a Marketing Project Manager and progressing to roles such as Global Brand Manager and Global Product Marketing & Branding Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Global Head of Brand Marketing at Zumtobel Lighting.

Sophie Marieke Preuß completed their education at the Deutsche Presseakademie Berlin in 2014, where they obtained a certificate in Social Media in enterprise communication. Prior to that, they attended the Schule für Gestaltung in Ravensburg from 2004 to 2008, earning a diploma in Design und visuelle Kommunikation, allgemein. Additionally, they obtained additional certifications in Social Media in der Unternehmenskommunikation and Diplom Grafik-, Kommunikations- und Informationsdesignerin in 2013 and 2004 respectively.
