Tanmoy Dutta

Tanmoy Dutta has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Tanmoy currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Architect at Zuora since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco as a Director/Principal Engineer from July 2019 to October 2021, where they were responsible for Webex Analytics and managed a team of 110 engineers.

Before joining Cisco, Tanmoy was a Senior Manager at Amazon from January 2018 to July 2019. Tanmoy also served as the Director of Development at eBay from August 2013 to July 2019. During their time at eBay, they successfully delivered large-scale services and led the CRM platform, which generated significant revenue and engaged millions of users globally.

Earlier in their career, Tanmoy worked at Microsoft Corporation in various roles, including Development Manager and Architect for Microsoft Business Solutions from November 2009 to July 2013. Tanmoy also served as a Development Manager in the core Windows Division and played a crucial role in shipping multiple versions of Windows.

Tanmoy's career began as a Consulting Engineer at Filenet Corporation from July 1996 to March 1998. Through their experience at different companies, they have gained expertise in areas such as cloud infrastructure, data analytics, machine learning, and developing scalable and high-availability systems.

Tanmoy Dutta completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Tanmoy pursued this degree from 1984 to 1988. Afterward, from 1988 to 1989, they attended the Oregon Graduate Institute where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science (CS).
