Vinoth Baalaji Appalaneni

Vinoth Baalaji Appalaneni has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Vinoth Baalaji started their career as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in November 2010 and worked there until July 2014. After that, they joined Leeyo Software Private Limited in June 2015 as an Integration Engineer - Intern and later became a Software Engineer - Cloud Technologies in August 2016.

In October 2017, Vinoth joined Zuora as a Senior Software Engineer. Vinoth Baalaji applied Micro-service principles to create robust, maintainable, and independently deployable services to cloud infrastructure. Vinoth Baalaji also designed and developed RESTful APIs for data integration and implemented Celery Distributed Task queues using Redis broker for asynchronous task execution. Vinoth Baalaji followed a test-driven development approach and utilized unit tests to ensure code quality. Vinoth containerized services for scalability and cross-functional team usage, and they also created a deployment pipeline in Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery. Additionally, they developed Terraform scripts for automation of infrastructure creation and deployment to AWS. During their time at Zuora, Vinoth showcased their expertise by developing a multi-tenant email notification service using Python SMTPLib for sending application alerts.

Currently, Vinoth holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Zuora, which they assumed in December 2022.

Vinoth Baalaji Appalaneni obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University in the year 2015-2016. Prior to that, they also earned another Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2014. Vinoth Baalaji'sBachelor's Degree in Computer Science was completed at Anna University in the years 2006-2010.
