Wenyang Dong

Wenyang Dong has extensive work experience in various roles related to user experience and design. Their most recent position is as a Senior UX Designer at Zuora, which they started in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a UX Designer at ByteDance from October 2019 to July 2021. Wenyang also served as a Product Designer at Opendoor.com from March 2017 to October 2019, and as a UX/Product Designer at Zendesk Sell from August 2015 to February 2017.

In terms of research, Wenyang worked as a Design Researcher at Microsoft from August 2014 to August 2015, where they focused on design research for the Visual Studio client and online experiences. They also had a role as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington from August 2013 to May 2014.

Additionally, Wenyang gained experience through internships. They worked as a Design Researcher Summer Internship at Microsoft from June 2013 to August 2013, where they conducted participatory research sessions and developed concept models based on user feedback and stakeholder input. Prior to that, they were a UX Researcher at Baidu, Inc. from November 2011 to July 2012, where they analyzed information architecture, collected and analyzed user data, and conducted contextual inquiries.

Wenyang's earliest position was as a Design Researcher at LKK INNOVATION LTD, where they worked from April 2010 to November 2011.

Wenyang Dong's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at Beijing Forestry University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design in 2008. In 2008, Wenyang pursued a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, completing their studies in 2011. Additionally, in 2009, they transferred to the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology for a year, studying Industrial and Product Design. Later, in 2012, Wenyang pursued a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction at Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 2014.
