Fernando Gadelha

Fernando Gadelha has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Fernando currently holds the role of Professor at FIAP, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Cyber Security at StackSpot and Zup Innovation in 2022. In 2022, they were also the Cyber Security Manager at Dafiti Group from February to June. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Itaú Unibanco, holding positions such as Information Security Coordinator and Information Security Specialist. Before that, they were the Information Security Leader at Saraiva from 2014 to 2017. Fernando also worked at iG - Publicidade e Conteúdo LTDA as the Information Security & Infrastructure Coordinator and Information Security Specialist from 2013 to 2014. From 2009 to 2013, they held the roles of Information Security Administrator and Information Security Officer at UOLDIVEO. Their career started at IBM Global Services, where they worked as a Technical Support Analyst from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they were a Technical Support Analyst at ABN AMRO from 2003 to 2005.

Fernando Gadelha completed a degree in Desenvolvimento de Aplicações: Internet from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo, specializing in Tecnologia da Informação, from 2003 to 2006. Fernando then pursued a Pós-Graduação em Segurança da Informação, also in Tecnologia da Informação, from 2009 to 2010 at the same university. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Cybersecurity from (ISC)² in December 2023 and in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
