Christoph Besson

Christoph Besson is an experienced legal and taxation professional currently serving as the Head of Legal Steuern and Head of Group Tax at Zürcher Kantonalbank since November 2009, where Besson holds a position as a member of the executive management. Besson has held various roles in the bank, including Deputy Head of Legal & Compliance Tax. In addition to this role, Besson is active in several professional associations, including economiesuisse, SwissBanking, and the Verband Schweizerischer Kantonalbanken, contributing as a member of their respective tax and finance committees since 2017. Prior to joining Zürcher Kantonalbank, Besson held senior management and consulting roles at Deloitte, EY, and Arthur Andersen. Besson earned a Master’s degree in Law from the University of St.Gallen and is a certified tax expert through EXPERTsuisse.
