Dr. Fabian Ackermann

Dr. Fabian Ackermann currently serves as the Head of Risk Asset Management and Head of Systematic Strategies at Zürcher Kantonalbank, a position held since August 2007. In this role, Dr. Ackermann oversees two teams: Data Science, which manages financial and ESG data along with investment signals, and Systematic Portfolio Management, responsible for quantitative equity models and the management of systematic equity funds and overlay mandates. Additionally, Dr. Ackermann has held positions as Head of Quant Portfolio Management and Portfolio Manager, focusing on quantitative portfolio management. Prior experience includes an internship at Baloise Group in 2006. Dr. Ackermann earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Banking and Finance and a Master's degree in Finance, both from the University of Zurich.
