Marcel Schnellmann

Marcel Schnellmann is an accomplished financial professional currently serving as the Head of Fixed Income and FX Execution at Zürcher Kantonalbank since September 2017. In this role, Marcel has focused on developing scalable, data-driven execution solutions for Fixed Income products, FX transactions, and OTC derivatives, while enhancing the trading experience through cross-asset electronic trading solutions. Previously, Marcel held the position of Senior Business Project Manager at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where automation of trade reporting and the establishment of FIX-connectivity significantly improved trade execution. Prior experience includes roles at UBS Wealth Management as a Fixed Income Execution Specialist and an intern in CHF Fixed Income Sales, as well as a foundational traineeship at Volksbank Paderborn-Höxter-Detmold eG. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics from HSB Hochschule Bremen and spent a year studying at Victoria University.
